Today we, Montessori School celebrated Christmas in all its joy and happiness. Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. Our KG angels danced to joyful tunes. Even the Xmas trees and Santa danced to the exciting tunes followed by Christmas skit. There was a carol presented by our teachers. Christmas cakes and gifts were distributed to the students.
In the bustling world of early childhood education, one event that stood out as a beacon of fun and excitement was the Pre-Primary sports day celebration that happened on 19th December, 2024 at our school. This annual event, eagerly anticipated by both young children and their families, played a vital role in instilling love for physical fitness and sportsmanship in our little munchkins. Here’s a closer look at this special day. It was a beautiful sight to behold on a pleasant Saturday morning as our little champions entertained the audience with a wonderful promenade of March past, display of drill and a spectacular inter school relay followed by many more events. The winners who made it to the victory stand felt proud and elated of being awarded by our chief guest Ms. Manasa & Mounika, along with our honorable Director Sir, our esteemed Principal & our dear Headmistress. The program also witnessed the much-awaited parents’ race that brought in resonating cheers from the audience. We at Montessori concluded this event with cherished tradition that goes far beyond the joy of a single day and by fostering a love for fitness from a young age; setting our children on a path toward healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives. |
Celebrating Flowers Day in Pre-Primary is important as it fosters an early appreciation for nature and the environment among young children. Our young buds of Montessori Sr. Secondary School celebrated the flowers day through engaging activities like planting, crafting, and learning about different flowers. This celebration also enhances their sensory experiences, creativity, and understanding of life cycles, all while promoting teamwork and social skills in a fun, hands-on way. Ultimately, Flowers Day helps instill values of care, beauty, and respect for the environment in children from a young age.
“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of our nation and the citizens of tomorrow.” Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Childhood is a blessing and the most fun filled phase of life. 14th November is the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and our beloved Big Madam P. KALYANAMMA garu. This day is celebrated as “Children’s Day “all over India. The Montessori School Celebrated Children’s Day with enthusiasm and vigor this year. A beautifully decorated stage was constructed in the auditorium. The children came in colorful attire and seemed enthusiastic for the exciting day ahead of them. The students were seated in the ground to experience a power packed programme specially arranged for the children. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day. As Children’s Day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was extremely fond of children, the programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion.
We see God in children and there is no other festival other than Janmashtami which gives plenty of opportunities to involve children in the celebrations. Although it is a joyous Hindu festival, but India being a diverse country where we believe in celebrating all festivals with equal harmony, our children at Montessori Sr. Secondary School, came together to celebrate this day with their friends and teachers. We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and participation of our little ones and parents in making the crown craft and learn the song.
They dressed up like little Krishna and Radha and we truly appreciate the efforts taken by the parents. Celebrating any festival is incomplete till we know the beautiful reasons behind it. We decided to make our children familiar with the actual story of birth of Lord Krishna with the help of a lovely video and narration by teachers. Final outcome was as expected, our children learnt why Lord Krishna decided to take birth and how he protected people from evil king Kamsa. Our children enthusiastically displayed their crown craft, flutes and ethic wear. The happy faces of our children made the festival even happier.
